Hotels Near the Orange County Convention Center: The Exhibitor’s Guide

Where your team stays can affect installation-day timing, show-floor coverage and simple day-to-day energy. The first decision is not the hotel brand—it is which Orange County Convention Center complex your event uses.

First, confirm your OCCC building

The OCCC operates West and North/South complexes on opposite sides of Universal Boulevard. The West Building/Concourse is connected by covered pedestrian walkways to Hyatt Regency Orlando, Rosen Centre and Rosen Plaza. The North/South Building/Concourse is connected by a pedestrian bridge to Hilton Orlando. The two OCCC complexes are linked by a covered walkway, but the crossing can add meaningful time to a morning booth schedule.

Check the current exhibitor manual before you book. IAAPA Expo 2026 is scheduled to use North, South and West Buildings. PGA Show 2027 exhibit days are scheduled for the West Concourse, while Demo Day is separate at Orange County National Golf Center.

Hotels connected to the OCCC by walkway

Hyatt Regency Orlando

Hyatt Regency Orlando is adjacent to the West Building and connected by a covered bridge. It is frequently convenient for West Building teams, although availability and price can move quickly around major events.

Rosen Centre Hotel and Rosen Plaza Hotel

Rosen Centre and Rosen Plaza are also connected to the West Building by covered walkways. They can be practical options for a team whose event and booth assignment are located on the West side of the OCCC.

Hilton Orlando

Hilton Orlando connects to the North/South Building by pedestrian bridge. It is a logical choice when the actual hall assignment is in the North or South complex.

Nearby International Drive options

Rosen Shingle Creek, DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando at SeaWorld, Embassy Suites Orlando International Drive Convention Center, Hampton Inn Orlando Convention Center, Residence Inn Orlando Convention Center and Hyatt Place Orlando/Convention Center can be useful nearby choices. Confirm current route, shuttle and event-block arrangements directly with the hotel or organizer before you rely on a specific walk time.

Resort options require a vehicle plan

Gaylord Palms, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin, Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek and Orlando World Center Marriott can suit teams combining a show with client meetings or a family stay. They are not walkable OCCC hotels. Allow for car or ride-share travel, designated pickup zones and heavier traffic at show close.

Booking tips for exhibitor teams

  • **Use the event housing block** when it provides the right hall-side option and commercial terms for your team.
  • **Stay on the same side as your hall.** This is particularly useful for early installation walkthroughs and opening-day meetings.
  • **Build travel time into the schedule.** A nearby hotel does not remove freight, contractor or venue deadlines.
  • **International teams:** Retain confirmation documents, check travel requirements early and use the International Exhibitor’s Guide for booth, power and freight planning.

Plan the room and booth together
